I think the point is about the aspiration (which I've recently learned about) to avoid a potential vein or micro-vein and delivering the dose into the bloodstream, not about the guy nor ivermectin. There's no drawback to it and it only decreases any potential (already minuscule) side-effects.

Danish doctors say that people with Omicron can get just as sick as people with Delta.
That's bad news if you was hoping for only common cold symptoms.
The only hope left is if the serious cases are more rare, but it's a bad sign that they already are getting these patients.

caltrek's comment: What is really distressing about this map is the dark color for Maine. In previous maps, Maine was doing better than the rest of the country. Now, it is as if Covid is making up for lost time.

The rise in cases in New York is hardly surprising, considering many who received the shot acted as if the pandemic was over and practiced no other health-safety measures. Guess we'll become the epicenter again before long, Omicron moves a bit too fast for enough people to re-adapt their behavior. Pandemic fatigue is also setting in for many. I guess London is serving as a preview for what to expect soon, considering our vaccination rates aren't too different last I checked.

I've been "boosted" earlier today, and aside from feeling kinda tired I feel better overall. Maybe a placebo effect from having more protection eases the mind. Get boosted if you are able, especially in a hot-spot or heavily populated area.
