Respect religious beliefs of Muslims, China tells Sweden
China, on Wednesday, criticised Sweden after a recent incident took place involving the burning of copies of the Muslim holy book, the Quran, Anadolu News Agency reports.

"Freedom of speech cannot be a reason to incite racial or cultural discrimination and tear society apart," said Wang Wenbin, spokesperson of China's Foreign Ministry, referring to the incident that triggered widespread condemnation across the Muslim world.

"We hope Sweden can earnestly respect the religious beliefs of minority groups, including Muslims," Wang said, according to the Chinese daily, Global Times.

Last week, Rasmus Paludan, the leader of the far-right Stram Kurs (Hard Line) group, burned a copy of the Muslim holy book in Sweden's southern Linkoping city. He also threatened to burn copies of the Quran in future rallies.

This is the gigantic remote-controlled robot drafted in to help fix railways in Japan.

Appearing like something straight out of a sci-fi movie, the Gundam-like creation is mounted on a crane and controlled virtually by an engineer.

The robot is able to carry out maintenance work on hard-to-reach railway contact lines.

Mona Lisa: Man dressed as old woman throws cake at da Vinci painting

A man disguised as an elderly woman in a wheelchair has thrown cake at the Mona Lisa, Leonardo da Vinci's famous painting at the Louvre in Paris.

The piece, which was undamaged, was left with white cream smeared across its protective glass.

The perpetrator, seen wearing a wig and lipstick, urged people to "think of the Earth" while being led from the scene.

The incident on Sunday was described by witnesses as being "jaw-dropping".

'Prince Andrew Is A Sweaty N***e' hits UK top 20 during Jubilee celebrations

A rather explicit song mocking Prince Andrew has reached the UK top 20 just as the nation celebrates the Queen's 70-year reign.

Entitled "Prince Andrew Is A Sweaty N***e", the song is a parody of the popular nursery rhyme the "Grand Old Duke of York." It was envisioned by Essex punk band The Kunts and is now closing in on the likes of George Ezra, Jax Jones and Eurovision's Sam Ryder.

Speaking to NME, the band's frontman said: "For me, having grown up with the folklore around The Sex Pistols' God Save The Queen getting robbed of the top spot in '77, a Jubilee celebration has always felt like it could be a good chance to air any grievances one may have with our unelected head of state and her feckless offspring."

You might remember the incendiary band from their previous exploits that include "Boris Johnson is a f*****g c**t", and "Boris Johnson is still a f*****g c**t." Both singles reached number five in the UK chart at their respective times, so here's to hoping their newest bop exceeds expectations.

The lyrics are rather incendiary, even by The Kunts' standards, which is precisely why it's doing so well on the chart.

"The grand old Duke of York, he said he didn't sweat. So why did he pay 12 million quid to a girl he'd never met?" reads one line. "'Cause he's a sweaty nonce (nonce) He's a sweaty nonce You know it's true that Prince Andrew Is a sweaty nonce."

I had to google what nonce means since it's not really a word here in the US. Upon discovering the meaning...yeah, he probably is.

UK finally has its own Monica Lewinsky-Bill Clinton scandal. I knew UK was missing something and it bugged the hell out of me for the longest time. 8-)

Perhaps, one of the close-by states that are still legal will help if there are any?

Yes, the girl went to next door Indiana and had an abortion there.

That's great Raklian, at least some states are still in this century unlike the Supreme court

Yeah, there's some hope, but the biggest fear we have now is Republicans in those abortion sanctuary states are actively trying to make abortion illegal. The Democrats are standing strong, but I truly hope they will still be around after the term elections this coming fall because early polls are showing Americans in general are unhappy with the Democratic governance due to economic woes we're facing now. Of course, they're blaming the wrong people, but in politics, perception is everything, right?
