One killed after teens take turns shooting each other wearing body armor, Florida police say

One teenager is dead after at least two teens took turns shooting at each other while wearing body armor, police in Belleview, Florida, said.

On April 3, the Belleview Police Department (BPD) received a call for a shooting at a residence. When they arrived, they found 16-year-old Christopher Leroy Broad Jr., who had been shot. He was transported to a local hospital where he died, BPD said in a Facebook post.

The medical examiner's office said the cause of Broad's death was a single gunshot wound to the chest and the manner of death was listed as homicide, according to a probable cause affidavit.

"Through the investigation, it was determined that Vining and Broad were taking turns shooting at each other while wearing a vest which contained a form of body armor," BPD said in the statement. "Vining shot at Broad while he was wearing the vest and he was struck."

The Federal Aviation Administration has found that Trevor Jacob, a daredevil YouTuber who posted a video of himself last year parachuting out of a plane that he claimed had malfunctioned, purposely abandoned the aircraft and allowed it to crash into the Los Padres National Forest in Southern California.

In a letter to Jacob on April 11, the FAA said he had violated federal aviation regulations and operated his single-engine plane in a “careless or reckless manner so as to endanger the life or property of another.”

The agency said it would immediately revoke Jacob’s private pilot certificate, effectively ending his permission to operate any aircraft.

Reached by email Wednesday, Jacob appeared unaware of the FAA’s ruling and replied, “Where’d you get that information?”

He did not immediately respond to follow-up emails.

But on a serious note, I doubt they'll win if they sue. I'm fairly certain there's an elevator close by. Maybe the judge will go as far as to ordering the owner of this building to add a warning sign near the escalator. That's it.

Nope. That is regular behaviour from the hood or any lower income area but usually specifically from the hood. Unlike folks here and there that some may have met I do not glamourize being from a very poor upbringing to a now middle class, if that, life that I want to upgrade from thanks to all these tech changes. This wild stuff is no longer something that can be denied any longer thanks to the wonders of technology especially when IoT really gets normalized in our global society. It will probably lead to some very tough conversations in the future about societal issues.

The amount of stuff that happens in lower income areas, especially the hood, is one of many reasons why publications you read online from academia about being poor causing brain issues is accurate especially when you see videos like this. Who can be a productive and normal person when some random things like this occur & interrupt your attempts to be a productive person day to day? Never mind the sorts of crab mentality losers that can be found in those places trying to prevent any one from bettering themselves.

If this sort of video shocked anyone then you are someone who has been a well adjusted, probably upper class or close to it, perfectly normal productive person and that is a great thing! Be proud of having had a great upbringing!
