BREAKING: UKRAINE RETAKES KUPIANSK, AT THE GATES OF IZYUM

This collapse of Russian forces is happening really fast in the east of the country.

Apparently, there are reports the Russians are evacuating Svatove as well as positions in Lyman as panic is taking hold. This may become one of the largest routs in modern military history.

It appears Ukraine is going to storm into northern Luhansk. This cannot be good for Russian morale... Their supply chains are going to be FUCKED.

Here's an in-depth video analysis exploring how bad corruption is in the Russian Army and how it has undermined them in the Ukraine War.

A Ukrainian Victory Would Liberate Eastern Europe
An outright win for Kyiv now looks possible.

Russia announces troop pullback from Ukraine's Kharkiv area
Source: AP
KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Russia’s Defense Ministry announced Saturday that it’s pulling back troops from two areas in Ukraine’s eastern Kharkiv region where a Ukrainian counteroffensive has made significant advances in the past week. The news came after days of apparent advances by Ukraine south of Kharkiv, the country’s second-largest city, in what could become the biggest battlefield success for Ukrainian forces since they thwarted a Russian attempt to seize the capital of Kyiv at the start of the nearly seven-month war.

Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said Saturday that troops would be regrouped from the Balakliya and Izyum areas to Ukraine’s tern Donetsk region. Izyum was a major base for Russian forces in the Kharkiv region and earlier this week social media videos showed residents of Balakliya joyfully cheering as Ukrainian troops moved in. Konashenkov said the Russian move is being made “in order to achieve the stated goals of the special military operation to liberate Donbas,’” one of the eastern Ukraine regions that Russia has declared sovereign.

The claim of pullback to concentrate on Donetsk is similiar to the justification Russia gave for pulling back its forces from the Kyiv region earlier this year when they failed to take the Ukrainian capital. Ukrainian officials earlier Saturday claimed major gains in a counteroffensive against Russian forces in the Kharkiv region, saying Ukrainian troops had cut off vital supplies to Izyum.

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleh Nikolenko also suggested the Ukrainian troops had retaken Kupiansk, a town along the main supply route to Izyum, long a focus on the Russian front line and the site of heavy artillery and other fighting. Nikolenko tweeted a photo showing soldiers in front of what he said was a government building in Kupiansk, 73 kilometers (45 miles) north of Izyum. The Ukrainian Security Service of Ukraine hours later posted a message which it said showed its forces in Kupiansk, further suggesting it had been seized by Ukrainian troops. The Ukrainian military didn’t immediately confirm entering the town, a railway hub that Russia seized in February.

Well, yeah, the morale of the Russian soldiers was low to begin with. A lot of them really don't want to be there.

I'm not one for Schadenfreude but nonetheless interested in their input. Even at 4chan the Russians pretty much seem to acknowledge defeat by now, but despite their rampant nationalism, they strangely enough seem among the first to admit it. The "men who just want to watch the world burn" are also the ones who don't really give much of a damn when it doesn't yet happen.

Governor: Ukrainian forces advance to outskirts of Lysychansk, Luhansk Oblast
Source: The Kyiv Independent

Luhansk Oblast Governor Serhiy Haidai told Suspilne television on Sept. 10 that locals have already seen Ukrainian soldiers on the outskirts of Russian-occupied Lysychansk. According to Haidai, Ukrainian partisans raised the country’s flag over Kreminna, a town near Sievierodonetsk, overnight on Sept. 10. He also added that Russian occupiers and collaborators are now leaving settlements in Luhansk Oblast en masse.

Nobody thinks this would be the right moment to negotiate?

We are giving Ukraine $100 billions a year so, another $100 next year. If for whatever reason we stop that, anybody thinks Ukraine is going to crumble?
Anybody thinks that the whole Russian army in the 18% of occupied Ukraine is going to melt, right away?

Ukraine is still providing the corpses, we just provide the weapons.

Ukrainian forces make 'significant gains' in Kharkiv region as advance against Russia continues
Sunday 11 September 2022 09:12, UK

Ukrainian forces have continued to make "significant gains" in the Kharkiv region as its counter-offensive against Russia continues.

The UK Ministry of Defence has said that Russia has likely withdrawn units from the area in northeastern Ukraine, in its daily intelligence update.

The shock advance by Ukrainian forces in the past four days has seen Russia order its troops to withdraw from two front-line positions, marking a significant gain for the Ukrainian military.

The country's president Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said Russia's army is "showing its back" and that Ukraine has liberated around 2,000 square kilometres of territory since the beginning of September.

In his nightly address, he said: "The movement of our soldiers in different directions on the front continues.

I continue to believe in the wisdom of a negotiated settlement. The problem is how do you negotiate with those who have a demonstrated record of not negotiating in good faith?

It looks like previous reports of Russian troops fleeing in the face of an advancing Ukrainian military may have understated the case:

Ukraine Troops Raise Flag Over Railway Hub as Advance Threatens to Turn Into Rout
September 10, 2022

Introduction:
(Reuters via CNBC) Natalia Popova, adviser to the head of the Kharkiv regional council, shared photos on Facebook of troops holding up a Ukrainian flag in front of Kupiansk city hall. A Russian flag lay at their feet. “Kupiansk is Ukraine. Glory to the armed forces of Ukraine,” she wrote.

In Hrakove, one of dozens of recaptured villages, Reuters journalists saw burnt out vehicles bearing the “Z” symbol of Russia’s invasion, and piles of rubbish and ammunition in positions the Russians had abandoned in evident haste.

“Hello everyone, we are from Russia,” was spray painted on a wall.

Three bodies lay in white body bags in a yard.

The regional chief of police, Volodymyr Tymoshenko, said Ukrainian police had moved in the previous day, and had checked the identities of local residents who had lived under Russian occupation since the invasion’s second day.

…and, of course, Al Jazeera is also to be ignored because it is also a Western news source.

Russia-Ukraine Live News: Kyiv Forces Within 50km of Border
by Arwa Ibrahim and Dalia Hatuqa
September 11, 2022

Introduction:
(Al Jazeera) Ukrainian forces have advanced north from Kharkiv to within 50km of the border with Russia and are also pressing to the south and east in the same region, Ukrainian chief commander General Valeriy Zaluzhnyi said.

• As the war in Ukraine marks 200 days, the military has reclaimed swaths of the south and the east in a long-anticipated counterattack that dealt a heavy blow to Russian forces.
• Ukraine counteroffensive ‘of great significance’, say observers

Observers have said that Ukraine’s strategic gains in the east have provided an “unwavering” or “doubtful” international community with evidence of its forces’ capabilities.

“This is a strategic victory for Ukraine – of far greater significance than the defeat of the Russians in Kyiv in March,” said Frank Ledwidge of the University of Portsmouth.

He told Al Jazeera that it was strategic because it demonstrates that the Ukrainians can impose losses on the Russians.
