^ My number 1 favourite game of all time!
One of the very few multiplayer games I was actually really good at. In deathmatches, I would often finish in the top 3, sometimes first place. Sometimes playing until 3am in the morning! Shock rifle and lightning gun were my favourite weapons.
Then UT3 came out in 2007, and it wasn't as good. And the UT community went into decline. A much talked about reboot failed to materialise, and people moved onto games like Fortnite and Overwatch.
But man... I really miss the old days of UT2004, and the original UT99. So much nostalgia for that time.

My headcanon is that avatar!Pandora is literally just a hyper-advanced planetary version of this made by a hitherto unseen civilization. It's too perfect to be natural and the real reason the RDA is dumb is not because "cOrPoRaTe GrEeD" but because everyone is missing all the obvious signs that they've blundered into an artificial environment and there are probably Space Na'Vi watching their every move and preparing to throw out the random aliens who are trampling all over their carefully cultivated art project slash scientific experiment.
