The Deepfake fiasco is actually why I'm now certain there will be no GPT-5 & especially SORA + HER until after the election. Musk himself is a dumbass because his actions are quite literally going to get the entire industry hit with regulations once Kamala is elected. I suppose it was only a matter of time before this issue came up, but to have it come up because of a well-known public figure is even worse.
Would be very much open to the idea of nationalizing his assets, in the best interest of the industry and personal rights.

Harris says she'll be at the debate
LINK: https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4 ... mp-debate/Campaign communications director Michael Tyler said...that Harris will be at ABC’s Sept. 10 debate — to which Trump and President Biden had both previously agreed — regardless of the former president’s attendance.
“As Vice President Harris said last week, the American people deserve to hear from the two candidates running for the highest office in the land and she will do that at September’s ABC debate,” Tyler said. “If Donald Trump and his team are saying anything other than ‘we’ll see you there,’ — and it appears that they are — it’s a convenient, but expected backtrack from Team Trump. Vice President Harris will be there on September 10th — we’ll see if Trump shows.”

It looks like JD Vance has been a dreadful choice for Vice President.
In another thread, I said we'll see how much Vance "strengthens Trump's chances." weatheriscool suggested that Vance doesn't bring much to the ticket. So far I would say he *hurts* Trump's chances and definitely doesn't bring anything positive to the ticket. His net approval rating is -6 already (the couch hoax probably contributed) where normally VPs at this point would be around +19.
Tim Scott as VP probably would've been more sensible for multiple reasons. Oh well.
(Personally I'm delighted to see Trump pick someone so unhelpful, but that's not too relevant)

WaPo: How much could Kamala Harris’s 2020 positions cost her?

Honestly not much. These are pretty weak attack points

Trump, with a history of sexist attacks, again faces a female opponent
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics ... en-sexism/
tldr the campaign is worried Trump might not be able to control himself

^ I was about to post this, but you beat me to it.
This guy is doing so much damage to Trump's campaign, I can't believe they'll keep him on. What an absolute doofus.
How the hell wasn't he properly vetted?!
