Sadly it's probably going to take another decade for life expectancy for cystic fibrosis to reach 70:

While you are technically correct, the tone of your post is somewhat blunt and unwelcoming, considering it's a new member.
Sorry, was not my intent to come across as such. I am not exactly good with word choice. I tend to be extremely blunt in how I phrase things. Luckily in real life I can rely on my tone of voice to make up for my natural choice in vocabulary and such, but sadly in text I come across as much more blunt and even confrontational than intended.

Tokyo to Nagoya high-speed maglev route is now delayed from 2027 to 2034:

https://www.theb1m.com/video/why-japans ... r-on-track

"In 2009, Maglev was approved and began construction. Everything was on track for the 2027 opening. But, of course, that isn’t going to happen. This first line is now not expected to open until at least 2034..."

As usual, further delays in space programs: In April 2023, the Russian government said that the Venera-D mission would be launched in June 2031 or two years later than previously advertised.

The B-52 will undergo further overhaul in the following years. It should extend its lifespan to 2060. Currently, it says 2045.

The prediction for alien life discovery (2035) (https://www.futuretimeline.net/21stcent ... alien-life) needs to be merged with the E-ELT (2028) prediction (https://www.futuretimeline.net/21stcent ... .htm#e-elt) in light of this study.

Worth noting that the report was later edited to remove that estimate. It originally cited Deepfakes: The Coming Infocalypse by Nina Schick.

Tesla's future is now uncertain, and is Musk's biggest source of wealth, so I guess we'll stick with 2039 for now, though I may do a more detailed analysis of billionaires at some point.
