Grok is a good model. It explains things within a very college like way compared to the bullet point way of GPT. I prefer the grok method.
I was using it to learn about history of different nations and tech stuff.

Grok and X are separate apps; furthermore, Grok is literally programmed to parrot Elon on politics. Glazing either is absurd.

Re: Social Media & Big Tech news and discussions
I've been on the internet since I was around 8-9 years old. If focused on the right parts of the internet it can be an extremely good thing for our youth and offers a serious advantage in knowledge and friendships one can develop. Lets be honest, we now live in a time where society including our youth depend on the internet for education, general knowledge, etc and a.i that is within it to function in ones life and this includes the concept of employment. To limit our youth is to limit their ability to succeed in today's world.
This isn't 40 years ago where everyone could act in the way they did and function for the times....Even then they had to learn how to use a computer later in their lives. Today it is even more important as we live in a vastly different society then what these assholes consider ideal. All this censorship is dumb and based on idiotic notions from boomers and older generation x'ers that think they know what is best for our youth. They freaking don't. These are the same people that want to destroy education and elect assholes like Trump.

There is no outright ban on teenagers using YouTube. The restrictions intend simply to restrict teenagers from accessing 18+ content.
The issues are the difficulty of reliable enforcement, the privacy risks involved in said enforcement, and the fact that people can easily get around the enforcement with VPNs.

The UK’s Online Safety Act is a licence for censorship – and the rest of the world is following suit

Teenagers should ideally not be on the internet. Or at least social media.firestar464 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 12, 2025 3:45 pm There is no outright ban on teenagers using YouTube. The restrictions intend simply to restrict teenagers from accessing 18+ content.

That is a very fascist view. I disagree. The internet is one of the most important tools there is for development into adulthood and teenagers must be on the internet. They must understand it to be able to compete and to be able to function in our world.zzz wrote: ↑Wed Aug 13, 2025 5:23 pmTeenagers should ideally not be on the internet. Let's not abuse the word, shall we? I get that some fascists want to use such legislation to censor queer and pro-abortion material from young people, but not everyone intends for that.
The core issue with this kind of legislation is the privacy-invasive means total enforcement would require, as well as the potential for censorship of certain political content.

Roblox is such a shitshow, I wonder what's the difference with the flash games of old. Scale maybe? I want to believe that is not the society around it.

Did you read the article? It's clear that you don't understand the situation at all; if you did, you'd know that the lawsuit happened to be about ACTUAL adult content. Any person, regardless of religious background or political orientation, can conclude that games like "Escape to Epstein Island" and "Bathroom Simulator" are not appropriate for Roblox, a kids' game. In what world is "we should not allow sexual content on games for children" controversial?
