Putting it in earth orbit is ridiculous but if he could put it beyond the moon or on the dark side of the moon where it wouldn't mess with the ease of getting to space or observation/space research it would be nice. Maybe we could put a date center platform every million miles at 5 million miles from earth orbit circling the sun?
I believe he should work towards platforms that are capable of greatly cutting down on satellites when it comes to star link. Maybe one platform could have the power of 100 of these satellites in the future and we could slowly deorbit the individual satellites.

It is a bad idea to put this in earths orbit. circling the planet. It will f*ck up our ability to get off planet and to have space stations in orbit. I'd put it on the moon or 5-10 miles out around the sun.
I think the dark side of the moon would offer the ability to keep these cold and would allow for outpost to form within reach for maintenance.
