‘What is Going on With Trump’s Rear?’ Viral Clip Sparks Speculation and Mockery from Left-Wing Pundits
Aug 16th, 2026, 1:20 pm
President Donald Trump is getting a lot of attention Sunday, but for reasons that may mystify.
Video from a Trump event in New York on Friday Aug. 14 prompted plenty of speculation about what exactly might be going on with the president’s backside — which, according to many left-leaning observers, purported to show Trump harboring a mysterious bulge, or box-shaped item. The president spoke to a group of supporters on Long Island highlighting his administration’s efforts to fight crime, but the focus from the progressive pundits was on his posterior.
“Seriously, what is going on with Trump’s rear end here? It looks like he has some sort of contraption back there,” wrote progressive influencer Aaron Rupar — who shared a video that was taken by outgoing White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.
“It depends,” George Conway answered — an apparent reference to the line of adult incontinence products.
Czech-American tennis legend Martina Navratilova also noted, “That’s a big diaper, I think:).”

He, and other Dems should respond, ‘He (Ossoff) said, ‘travel with Nathalie’, why are all the Republican responses jumping to sex? Is that what happens when they travel with staff? Like it’s normal?’

7-year-old boy left behind on Mount Fuji by his dad

https://japantoday.com/category/nationa ... by-his-dad
“This summer, I hiked Mount Fuji with my dad!” sounds like a pretty cool opening for a kid’s how-I-spent-my-summer-vacation essay. The composition gets less heartwarming, though, if it concludes with “And then I got to meet some policemen after he abandoned me on the side of the tallest mountain in Japan.”
And yet, that’s exactly what happened to a 7-year-old boy from Nagoya on Thursday. Early that morning, the boy, his 48-year-old father, and his older brother (a first-year junior high school student, making him either 12 or 13 years old) had started their hike up the Fujinomiya Trail. At somewhere around the trail’s sixth of 10 stations on the way to the summit, the younger child became fussy, complaining that he was tired.
At this point, the obvious options would be either to offer some words of encouragement to the tuckered-out tyke, take a break so he could rest and recover his stamina, or, perhaps, to simply accept that taking a 7-year-old on an attempt to summit Mount Fuji was a flawed plan from the start, and so head home. Instead, the father decided to tell his younger son “Wait here,” after which he and the older boy continued hiking towards the top of the mountain.
It’s not like the summit was just a hop, skip, and a jump away from where the dad abandoned his flesh and blood, either. According to the Mount Fuji Climbing official website, it takes a little over five hours to hike from the Fujinomiya Trail’s sixth station to the peak, and slightly more than two and a half hours to walk back down there from the top. That means the dad was counting on a 7-year-old to sit tight and keep himself safe on the mountain for at least seven and a half hours, and likely longer once you factor in any time spent by the dad and older brother on rest breaks, taking photos, or admiring the view at the summit.

Darren Bailey tries to stay on message on Republican Day at the Illinois State Fair

https://wgntv.com/news/politics/wgn-the ... tate-fair/
Pritzker’s re-election campaign is trying to knock Bailey off course, sending people dressed in dinosaur costumes to the fairgrounds on Thursday ahead of a scheduled GOP rally. They said the stunt was a reference to curriculum used at downstate school founded by Bailey that teaches students that dinosaurs and humans walked the earth at the same time. Scientific evidence has shown the earliest humans did not walk the earth until more than 65 million years after dinosaurs were extinct.
“I think every day we’re learning wonderful things about history in the past,” Bailey said in defense of the school.
When asked to clarify his beliefs, Bailey said this:
“Were you there?”
“I wasn’t there,” replied Bradley
“I wasn’t either, I don’t know,” said Bailey.
