Merry Christmas and a happy 2020!

FutureTimeline.net would like to wish our readers a merry Christmas and all the best for 2020!

A huge thanks to our writers, readers, social media followers, forum members and everyone else in our community who makes this website possible.

We are about to enter a new decade – full of danger and uncertainty, but also brimming with excitement and opportunity. As we look back at the 2010s there are many astounding breakthroughs that occurred in science and technology. However, if some of you feel a slight sense of disappointment and frustration with the rate of progress, let us leave you with a quote from our forum member Casey:

"There's been plenty of progress made in a number of fields between 2010 and the present, it's just that the 2010s have been more of a preparation decade before various technologies (self-driving cars, AI, BCI brain scanning technology, full genome sequencing, VR) really make their dent into society during the 2020s. We're at the precipice of that here, at the very end of the '10s."

We hope you will continue to accompany us on this journey through time, as we report on the latest advances in science and technology and attempt to forge a path through the uncertainty towards 2030 and beyond!
