SpaceX reveals new details about human Mars mission

The 21st Annual International Mars Society Convention was held recently in Pasadena, Southern California. This four-day event brought together leading scientists, engineers, aerospace industry representatives, government policymakers and journalists to talk about the latest scientific discoveries, technological advances and political-economic developments that could help pave the way for a human mission to the Red Planet. In this video, SpaceX's Principal Mars Development Engineer, Paul Wooster, talks about the company's future plans – which include at least two cargo missions to Mars in 2022, followed by the first crewed missions in 2024, using a new generation of rocket technology.
