A bridge linking Scotland and Northern Ireland?
The UK government is studying the feasibility of a Scotland-Northern Ireland bridge. If built, the project would be the most significant of its kind in the British Isles since the early 1990s, when the Channel Tunnel linked England and France.

A new survey reveals that despite a strong global economy and near full employment, a majority of respondents in every developed market do not believe they will be better off in five years' time, and 56% believe that capitalism in its current form is now doing more harm than good in the world.

Volkswagen accelerates production of electric cars
Volkswagen will achieve its goal of 1 million electric cars per year two years earlier than planned – turning out a million battery-powered cars by 2023, instead of 2025. The company has also presented a future concept for autonomous charging via mobile robots.
