Greenland may be ice-free by the year 3000
If the rising level of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) remains on its current trajectory, Greenland may be ice-free by the year 3000. Even by 2100, the island could lose 5% of its ice – contributing up to 13 inches of global sea level rise.
